A lawsuit filed by an Ohio couple seven years ago over allegedly illegal fees that were charged by Wells Fargo & Co. on a foreclosure is still active.

The case was filed by Eugene and Patricia Kline, who at least two times defaulted on two mortgages secured by a Centerville, Ohio, property.

The couple, who now rent in another nearby town, sued to recover allegedly improper legal fees and costs charged in connection with the foreclosure.
